1. Produce Preparation: Wash, peel, cut, and package fruits and vegetables with precision and care, ensuring top quality. 2. Product Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the freshness and appearance of produce, discarding any damaged or spoiled items. 3. Merchandising & Culling: Assist with the display of produce, ensuring attractive presentation, and remove low-quality items from displays as necessary. 4. Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety protocols, including maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area. 5. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by rotating stock, monitoring levels, and reporting shortages or excesses. 6. Support for Produce Department: Collaborate with the Produce Manager to maintain high standards across the department, including inventory organization and customer service. 7. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that the presentation and packaging of produce are visually appealing and meet customer expectations.

Experience in food production, food handling, or produce preparation is required. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean work environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to support merchandising and maintain appealing displays in the produce section.

This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a cold environment. Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
